Evreka, which designs digital waste management solutions, received 2.2 million dollars investment from Logo Ventures, TechOne, TTGV and Fark Labs. According to Evreka CEO Umutcan Duman, this investment adds significant value to the waste management sector, as their goal is to support sustainability by offering efficient and high-tech waste management solutions to their customers and partners.
In addition to developing an integrated platform for more sustainable and digital process management, Evreka, which collaborates with waste management companies, local governments, and municipalities in over 20 countries, tripled its revenue in 2021 while achieving global growth.
Commenting on their recent achievements, Umutcan Duman stated that by solving optimization and resource management issues in waste management, they have expanded their product range and begun offering better solutions to their customers and partners, and that the received investment will serve as a driving force to enter new international markets.
Evreka aims to establish local offices and teams in target countries.
With the new investment, Evreka plans to continue increasing its global market share by setting up local offices in key markets such as the United States, Singapore, the Netherlands, as well as in the MENA and APAC regions. The company also aims to initiate new projects in the field of sustainability.
Using sensors placed in waste containers, the company collects data such as fill level, location, and temperature, and, using its proprietary software along with routing and prediction algorithms, automatically determines the shortest routes that waste collection drivers need to follow on a daily basis, which are then communicated to them via a tablet.
