Cognitiwe, which offers solutions with AI-supported image processing technology to the retail and manufacturing sectors, received a $605,000 investment.
Focusing on the production and retail verticals, Cognitiwe, which provides services in quality control and smart inventory tracking with its advanced AI-supported image processing application, received a $605,000 investment in a funding round led by TechOne VC and including StartersHub, Startup Wise Guys, and EGIAD Angels.
“Cognitiwe; reduces potential risks and costs by producing advanced technology solutions for manual operations.”
With its AI-based video analysis and image processing technology developed on the Cognitiwe Unified Vision platform, it enables the analysis of images from existing IP cameras with the help of artificial intelligence and machine learning without the need for any hardware investment. It provides the ability to automate all processes in areas such as quality control, inventory tracking, employee health, or workplace safety in the production sector. On the retail side, not only the products on the shelves, but also the display stock of unpackaged items such as fruits and vegetables in checkout counters can be tracked in real time and the freshness status of products can be reported instantly.
“‘We will be the market leader!’”
The founders, Atilla Algan and Mete Bayrak, aim to become the market leader in AI-supported image processing technologies, primarily in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe with this investment round. With its developed Unified Vision concept, Cognitiwe processes image outputs and data from IoT systems together using deep learning infrastructure and, with a preventive control model, is able to determine and alert potential error points before further issues occur and generate forecasts for inventory planning.
Co-founder Attilla Algan stated that their developed platform contains significant innovations and, by differentiating itself from widely used image processing applications and offering alternative solutions in areas such as quality control in production and inventory management in retail without the need for expensive hardware, they will transform the Cognitiwe Unified Vision platform into an affordable SaaS structure that can be used by small and medium-sized enterprises after the investment round, ensuring its widespread adoption.
