Actus and Tarvenn join forces for TechOne fund to invest in tech startups.

Actus Portföy and Tarvenn Ventures joined forces for TechOne, which aims to become Turkey’s largest early stage venture capital fund. TechOne Venture Capital Fund aims to invest over 200 Million TL in 5 years in technology startups from Turkey that have the potential to expand to global markets.

Founded under the leadership of Actus Portföy and Tarvenn Ventures, TechOne plans to invest in at least 50 early-stage startups producing high technology that can compete in the global market. TechOne fund, which will provide the invested startups with knowledge, experience and connections as well as capital with more than 30 full-time professionals, aims to increase the chances of global success of technology startups from Turkey with its international connections and experience.

Investing in Globally Focused Technology Startups

The TechOne fund will invest in more than 50 early-stage technology startups without sectoral discrimination, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Medical Technologies, Advanced Materials and the Internet of Things. Particular emphasis will be placed on the growth of high-tech startups in global markets. The experienced fund team, which has invested and operated in many different countries, aims to support startups in all areas.  This will enable startups to scale rapidly, access follow-on investments and create global success stories.  

Actus and Tarvenn Join Forces for Smart Capital Fund TechOne

Actus Portföy, one of Turkey’s largest asset management companies, and Tarvenn Ventures, which has made a name for itself with its investments in recent years, joined forces for TechOne. Actus Portföy, a subsidiary of Global Investment Holdings with a portfolio under management exceeding TL 1.2 billion, is one of Turkey’s largest asset management companies with domestic capital. Actus, which is also the founder of Logo Ventures, Turkey’s first corporate venture capital fund, operates in a wide range of areas from technology investments to energy and infrastructure investments with the private equity funds it manages.

Tarvenn Ventures, an international investment and advisory firm based in Istanbul, provides strategic advisory services to institutional investors and equity funds in addition to investing in early-stage innovative startups. Tarvenn Ventures, which has a broad portfolio of startups in the healthcare, energy, gaming, food, agriculture, e-commerce and service sectors with its investments, offers knowledge, experience and connections to entrepreneurs in addition to capital with its smart money model. As an Operational Partner of TechOne fund, Tarvenn will support the selection of investee startups and their rapid post-investment growth with its extensive team and international experience.

Experienced Investment Team

TechOne Smart Equity Fund, established under the leadership of Actus Portföy and Tarvenn Ventures, draws attention with its experienced investment team. The TechOne team, which has over 5 billion TL of investment experience through the different funds it manages, has realized more than 150 investment transactions in more than 20 countries. TechOne, which will be managed by a team that has invested and operated in many different countries, will act as a competent investor and teammate for globally focused technology startups.
