Yollando.com, which makes it easier to shop abroad from Turkey, received its first investment with a valuation of 2.5 million TL.
Yollando.com, a cheap, fast and secure shopping and package forwarding service from Turkey to the world, has received an investment of 2.5 million TL from Tarvenn Ventures, which applies the smart capital model to seed and early stage startups.
Yollando.com provides its users abroad with an address in Turkey and enables them to shop from all e-commerce sites easily. In order to increase the added value it offers to its users, it offers various services such as buy for me, package consolidation, package tracking, sending packages back and discounted package forwarding. Yollando.com founder Serdar Güvenkaya stated that the cost of transferring products abroad is reduced by up to 80 percent in online purchases made through Yollando.com, and noted that with the service they offer, they enable e-commerce sites in Turkey to sell abroad and that there are already more than 40 e-commerce sites and Instagram sales pages using Yollando to sell abroad.
Brokered 2,000 purchases from 40 countries
Güvenkaya said that they have served their customers in 40 countries by mediating two thousand purchases so far, and that they aim to reach more countries and customers by strengthening financially and operationally with the investment they received from Tarvenn, Güvenkaya said, “Thanks to Tarvenn’s support and international connections, we will accelerate marketing activities abroad as well as increasing corporate collaborations. We will contribute to increasing the international sales of Turkish brands.”
Eser Erkan, one of the partners of Yollando.com, stated that with the investment received from Tarvenn, they aim to improve operational processes, establish new business partnerships and make it easier for users abroad to access Turkish products.
